Dear Weston Community,

We are proud to share that Weston Intermediate School has been named one of only four schools in Connecticut to receive the inaugural Connecticut Blue Ribbon Award.

This recognition, established by the Connecticut State Department of Education under the leadership of Commissioner Charlene Russell-Tucker, continues the tradition of honoring schools that demonstrate academic excellence and student success. Although the U.S. Department of Education recently ended its long-standing National Blue Ribbon program, Connecticut has ensured that the achievements of our schools will continue to be celebrated.

This prestigious award is a testament to the dedication of our students, staff, and families who work together every day to create an exceptional learning environment in Weston.
