2022-23 Student Parking Information

All students parking on campus must have a valid parking permit. 

DRIVING AND PARKING
Safety and security are our top priority and the basis for our regulations.  Bus transportation is provided for all students and its use is encouraged for environmental and safety reasons. Student driving to school is a privilege, not a right, and is limited by safety/space considerations.

PARKING PERMIT
Student drivers must register their vehicles in the Front Office. They must provide copies of the following documents to obtain a parking permit:

  • Completed Application
  • License
  • Registration
  • Insurance card
  • Completed WHS Safe Driving Pledge WHS Safe Driving Pledge
  • Students with accountabilities will not be issued a parking permit.
  • Guidelines for parking permits will be published at the beginning of the year and may change due to changing campus conditions.
  • Parking spaces will be numbered and students should park in their designated space.
  • Students must have a WHS numbered parking permit in order to park vehicles on the school campus.

PARKING LOT RULES

  1. Neither cars nor the parking lot are to be used for lounging/loitering during the school day.
  2. Speed limit is 20 m.p.h.
  3. Parking in proper areas only
  4. Obey all traffic and parking signs.
  5. Students are not allowed to cross/hop over fenced areas.
  6. Parking permits/tags must be displayed in designated place.

VIOLATIONS
Violations for parking in authorized areas without a permit will include such consequences as fines, ticketing, loss of driving privileges for up to a year, legal consequences up to and including booting/towing at owner’s expense.

  • Students are not to be in their cars at any time except for the obvious purpose of parking the car or leaving the grounds.
  • Students may not be in cars during fire drills.
  • Abuse of the privilege of driving to school may result in fines, forfeiture of unassigned time or other penalties.

Senior Parking 2022-23

Seniors can drop off their applications, payments and copies of all required documents to the Main Office. Please allow 48 hours turnaround time.  Seniors may continue to hand in their applications through the school year.

All outstanding student accountabilities (class dues or payments for lost books, gym locks, library fines) must be paid in full!  If you have any questions regarding your class dues status please check your payment history on MySchoolBucks, call the school or contact your class advisors Janine Russo or Megan Sullivan.  Note that Dues payments on MySchoolBucks are disabled until late August, when formal invoicing will begin. Please do not pay dues under the heading ‘accountabilities’ in MySchoolBucks. If you wish, you can pay your dues by check to Weston High School, with ‘dues’ in the memo line and bring this in with your parking paperwork.  If we find you owe any dues or accountabilities, we will email you after as soon as possible, and you can come back with the items owed or their replacement costs. Once settled, we issue your parking sticker.

Parking payments can be paid by check – payable to WHS with “parking” in the memo line or by credit card on your MySchoolbucks account under “Parking”. Please bring in signed paperwork along with paper copies of all required documentation, your payment, or a paper copy of your MySchoolBucks parking payment screenshot.  The parking fee for the full year is $150.00. For second semester only it is $75.00. 

*To pay by credit card/myschoolbucks: Log into your MSB account and simply browse under School Store and choose Parking fees, select student’s name from the drop down menu, select Buy Now or Add to Basket and provide your credit card information. If you do not have an account, you must first create an account at myschoolbucks.com using your student I.D. number which is located in the powerschool portal. The directions are on the myschoolbucks website. *Please note that all school store purchases will be assessed a 4.95% convenience fee by myschoolbucks.

 

 

 

Junior Parking 2022-23

Juniors must have a valid Driver’s License in order to apply.  The parking fee for all or any portion of first semester is $75.00.

Complete the forms below and return them to the main office. Please allow 48 hours turnaround time for sticker to be issued.

Juniors may continue to submit applications for parking throughout the semester as long as available spaces remain.

All applications must be complete before they can be processed.  All outstanding student accountabilities (class dues or payments for lost books, gym locks, library fines) must be paid in full!  You will be emailed about any outstanding accountabilities after  you drop off your application. You can then return to the officel with the items or their replacement fee. Once settled, we will issued your sticker.
