Steven Ezzes

Steve has a career in investment banking and investment management.  He was an original member of the leverage finance group at Goldman Sachs & Co. followed as a partner at Bass Investment Limited Partnership.  Steve has served on a number of boards of directors in the United States and Australia.

Prior to moving to Weston, Steve was a member of Westport’s Board of Finance for a decade serving as Chairman for eight years.  Moving to Weston, he was elected to Weston’s Board of Finance where he also was Chairman for eight years.  Steve has been a member of the Building Committee and the Facility Optimization Committee. Governor Lamont appointed Steve to the Connecticut Lottery Corporation where he is a member of the Executive Committee. 

Steve has three children including a son who teaches middle and high school in Australia.

BOARD MEMBER

David Felton

David is the owner of Canaan Technology, a Managed Service Provider (IT Services) that he founded in 2002. At Canaan Technology, David is responsible for the development and execution of the Company’s strategy, day-to-day management, identifying and evaluating new products and services, and working closely with clients and staff during the entire project lifecycle. David is frequently called upon by trade publications to provide expert commentary and analysis of tech industry trends and events. Prior to founding Canaan Technology, David held management-level positions in the IT field at the University of Hartford, Yale University, the Hamden Public Schools, and several privately held companies.

David holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Criminal Justice from the University of Hartford.  He has lived in Weston since 2001 with his wife Hilary and two sons, Jacob and Caleb.

Sharon Ferraro

Sharon is a retired sales professional who specialized in both traditional and new media sales. She has developed and managed large global teams of sales professionals throughout her career. She has a BA in Telecommunications from Indiana University, Bloomington. Since moving to Weston in 2016, Sharon has been on the executive committee of both WMS and WHS PTO’s as well as involved in various fundraising and community activities. She has also served as the president of the Weston Women’s League.

Sharon and her husband, Dana, have a total of six children in their blended family.

Peter Gordon

Peter brings broad experience in the global photonics industry focusing on developing and deploying solutions to enhance human health and drive high bandwidth connectivity. He holds engineering degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and UC Santa Barbara, and a history degree from Edinburgh, Scotland University.

Peter and his family enjoy living in Weston, hiking locally, gardening, horseback riding, attending Lachat Town Farm community events, skiing, and playing tennis.

Chad Hoeppner

Chad is the founder of an education and training company and has designed curriculum for charter and private high schools, as well as higher ed institutions like the Columbia Business School PhD program. As an advisor and consultant, he has worked with deans of Ivy League universities, US Presidential candidates, and multiple start-up incubators, including the second most active VC firm in the US. Chad has been on the executive committee of the Hurlbutt PTO. He graduated phi beta kappa from Colorado College in history and philosophy and holds an MFA from NYU.

Chad is the proud father of two children in the Weston Public Schools.

Bernadette Kingsley

Bernadette is an educator with over ten years of classroom practice and research experience focused on well-being in schools. Prior to teaching, she was a data analyst for Morgan Stanley in the Human Resource and Learning & Development departments. Since moving to Weston in 2017, Bernadette has served as a member of the Weston Survey Research Committee and HES PTO. She holds a Doctorate in Education Leadership and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Manhattanville College, and a B.A. in Biology from Dartmouth College.

Bernadette and her husband, Mike, have two children in the Weston Public Schools.
