Dear Weston Families:

I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to let you know that on October 4, 2023, we will be hosting an informational session regarding school-based adaptations of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm via Google Meet. The purpose of this session is to provide families with strategies and resources to support their children at home and to encourage a partnership between home and school around our social-emotional learning programming at Weston Middle School and Weston High School.

The presentation will be facilitated by members of our mental health teams at Weston Middle School and Weston High School. It follows the same format as a presentation that was shared with the Weston High School PTO last year. Our goal is to help families in our district better understand the methodology behind this program and the strategies taught to our students.

The presentation will be recorded. While DBT is utilized at the middle school and high school, all members of the Weston Public School community are welcome to join.
