Dear Weston Families, 

I hope you are all doing well and enjoyed the summer. It has been a wonderful start to the new school year. Continuing with the practice we started last year, I am writing to let you know about our first parent meeting of the year. 

Our first meeting will be on October 18, 2023 at 4:30 in the Weston Middle School Library. The meeting will be in person and will not be recorded. The primary purpose of the meeting is to provide you with an opportunity to meet our new assistant directors: Ben Neumann (Grades 9 to 12), Amy Speiser (Grades 4-8), and Lisa Valenzisi (Preschool to Grade 3). We will briefly review protocols for communication districtwide and how we support student transitions between buildings in the district. I will also share information with families about gratitude, which relates directly to our district theme of connectedness and belonging this year. 

If you have any questions or ideas about future meeting topics, please feel free to contact me directly. I look forward to seeing many of you on October 18th at 4:30.
