Budget Meeting Information

Greetings WPS Families,

On Monday, January 6, 2025 the WPS administrative team presented the budget for the 2025-2026 school year. I encourage you to watch the presentation and review the budget page on our district website.This page is an excellent resource of information. Over the next few weeks, we  will continue to post supplemental documents in order to provide the community with a clear understanding of the request.  

I  would like to remind you of the two upcoming public forums where the community has the opportunity to provide feedback. Please note that one will be in person and one will be via zoom.  

 Public Forum Dates:

• January 15 at 7:00 PM in the Weston Middle School Library
• January 23 at 7:00 PM via Zoom

I encourage you to  participate in these forums. 

In addition, the Board of Education will continue to hold budget workshops, which you are welcome to watch.  

Board of Education Workshop and Meeting Dates: 

• January 16, Budget Workshop at 9:00 AM via Zoom
• January 21, Board of Education Regular Meeting at 7:00 PM via Zoom
• January 27, Budget Workshop at 9:00 AM via Zoom
• January 28, Approval and Adoption of FY 2026 Recommended Operating and Capital Budgets) at 6:00 PM via Zoom
• January 30, Approval and Adoption of FY 2026 Recommended Operating and Capital Budgets, if necessary) at 6:00 PM via Zoom
