Dear Families:

The purpose of this email is to inform you of a situation that happened today at WIS.  Rest assured students and staff are safe. Please see Principal Falber's email to WIS parents.

Lisa Barbiero

Superintendent of Schools

Weston Intermediate School

Dear WIS Parents and Guardians,

I hope this message finds you well. I want to share with you some information about an incident that occurred at our school today. Earlier, an accidental 911 call was made from our school. I want to assure you that there was no emergency and everyone—students and staff alike—remains safe. I also recognize that news of such an event can cause concern.

As part of their protocol, emergency responders arrived promptly to assess the situation. They quickly confirmed that there was no danger, and we are grateful for their swift and professional response in ensuring our safety.

We deeply value the trust you place in us to care for your children each day, and we take this responsibility very seriously. As such, we are reviewing this incident thoroughly and reinforcing proper phone usage with students and staff to prevent similar occurrences in the future.

Thank you for your understanding and for entrusting us with the care of your children.

Warm regards,

Patricia Falber, Principal
