Important Update Regarding Superintendent

Dear Weston Families,

We are writing to let you know that our Superintendent of Schools, Ms. Lisa Barbiero, is on a medical leave of absence for the remainder of the school year. As you may know, in November Ms. Barbiero announced her retirement effective June 2025 after 40 years of loyal, dedicated service to the Weston Public Schools. We wish Ms. Barbiero all the best as she spends time focusing on her health.

Early next week, the Board will be meeting to appoint an Acting Superintendent in Ms. Barbiero’s absence. In the meantime, the search for a new Superintendent is underway.

We are confident that our excellent leadership team and staff will continue to carry on the good work of the school district with the best interests of students as our focus.
